Course Target Audience
This activity is intended for physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, residents and fellows, family medicine physicians, orthopedic surgeons, neurological rehabilitation physicians, and allied health professionals in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
• Identify and describe the anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology of disease and injuries that lead to the development of physical and cognitive disabilities.
• Describe state-of-the-art clinical practice physiatry based on current research in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation & associated fields.
• Apply the latest Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation evaluation/management evidence-based care to clinical practice.
