Neurological Rehabilitation eLearning Course

Members Professor Fary Khan and Professor Mary Galea and their team have published a “Neurological Rehabilitation” online study course available via Melbourne University.

This course will be available worldwide to rehabilitation physicians, GPs, trainees, students, nurses, especially for third-world countries.

Professor Khan says "It will be wonderful to be able to engage trainees and rehab physicians who may want a refresher."

The course contents are enriched with photos, videos, and interactivities for a better learning experience.

Do you treat refugees or asylum seekers living in the community who are experiencing pain?

Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Service, St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney are looking for refugees to participate in a short online survey.

Participants will be asked to complete a one-off short internet survey, which can be completed via a computer, tablet, or mobile phone. The survey will ask questions about their pain and any treatments they have accessed to manage their pain. The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. The survey is available in 4 languages: English, Farsi, Arabic, and Tamil.

Cancer Survey for Rehabilitation Fellows and Trainees

All rehab physicians and trainees working in a hospital and ambulatory care settings are encouraged to fill out the online survey below:

This survey aims to evaluate the current availability and use of cancer rehabilitation programs in Australia and NZ.

Information from this survey will be valuable in assessing cancer populations served, core components delivered and highlight potential gaps in cancer rehab services.
