COVID-19: RMSANZ is closely monitoring the situation with Coronavirus (Covid-19) and advice provided by the Australian Government Department of Health. The safety and wellbeing of our Members and Event attendees is of paramount importance and remains our top priority. All events scheduled in 2020 have been postponed.
Each year the society hosts an annual scientific meeting at an Australian or New Zealand location. Throughout the year we organise workshops and events offered to members at a discounted rate. Some of the activities may only be open to members of the RMSANZ, whilst others may be open to all interested parties.
RULES FOR PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES
Terms and Conditions for Payments and Refunds for RMSANZ Groups Activities and Events (does not include membership fees or ASM registration Fees.)
All amounts payable to the RMSANZ Ltd must be made: in full by the due date stated; using the payment methods prescribed from time to time and; in the currency stated.
The following payment methods are accepted:

Event Registration Fees
Fees are payable in full upon application to attend the event.
Notification of withdrawal from an event must be received before the closing date for registrations and must be approved by the RMSANZ Treasurer (or a delegated authority) in order to receive a refund.
Withdrawals received no later than two weeks before a scheduled event are eligible for a full fee refund.
Withdrawals received less than two calendar weeks, but more than one calendar week prior to the event date are eligible for a 75% refund.
Withdrawals received less than one calendar week before an event are not eligible for a refund.
Registrants who fail to appear for the activity/event will forfeit all fees.
Income Tax Deduction
The RMSANZ makes no representation that the payment of any amount, subscription, or fee will be accepted by the authorities as an income tax deduction and the RMSANZ suggests independent advice should be sought.
Tax Invoices or receipts for payments received will only be provided upon written request from the payee.
These rules are not applicable for the payment of RMSANZ annual subscriptions or registration fees to attend RMSANZ Annual Scientific Meetings.
The RMSANZ may revise these rules from time-to-time. Revised terms and conditions will apply from the date of the publication of the revised rules on the RMSANZ website.
