Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine (JRM) and Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine – Clinical Communication (JRM-CC) are two international, non-profit, Open Access journals, publishing articles on a broad range of topics within the field. Owned by the Foundation of Rehabilitation Medicine, the journals welcome contributions from all parts of the world and from different professions in rehabilitation.
JRM is a high impact journal, aiming to be a leading worldwide forum for research in physical and rehabilitation medicine, and to increase knowledge in evidence-based clinical rehabilitation. It publishes primarily original articles, reviews, short communications and special reports. The journal strives to provide its readers with a variety of topics, including:
- functional assessment and intervention studies
- clinical studies in various patient groups
- methodology in physical and rehabilitation medicine
- epidemiological studies on disabling conditions and reports on vocational and sociomedical aspects of rehabilitation.
JRM-CC aims to fill a gap in the landscape of scientific and clinical publishing in rehabilitation medicine and affiliated fields, welcoming contributions that can develop and improve clinical practice. Thus JRM-CC is a forum for a broad range of interesting clinical papers including case studies, pilot studies, educational papers, personal opinions, technical papers, summaries of PhD-theses, position papers, extended abstracts etc. The main criterion for considering a submission in JRM-CC will thus be the relevance for clinical practice in Rehabilitation Medicine.
Readership: A wide group of healthcare professionals including specialists in rehabilitation medicine, neurology, clinical neurophysiology, general medicine, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers.
